Strayer University seeks nominations and applications for the position of University Registrar. The University Registrar will play a critical role in the development and execution of the organization’s Registrar function and is the official custodian of student records. Reporting directly to the University President, the Registrar is a key member of the academic leadership team and will partner with other academic and corporate leaders to develop and implement superior services that support students from enrollment to graduation.

Job Requirements
The position requires extensive and successful professional experience in the field of student records and registration, and requires significant managerial and leadership skills to oversee a staff of 30 to 40 professionals. The ideal candidate will have:
•a minimum of five years of current professional higher education experience in the administration of student records and registration systems;
•contemporary knowledge of student systems and enrollment management policies and practices;
•superior written and oral communication skills;
•strong interpersonal skills;
•superior management ability;
•ability to lead the department in a rapidly growing University and to address the needs engendered by significant enrollment growth; and
•leadership skills to create and implement effective strategies to support the University and the company in the execution of its key initiatives.
A bachelor’s degree is required for consideration, with an MBA or terminal degree highly preferred. Strayer University’s Manassas Campus is currently seeking a responsible and motivated individual for the full-time position of Student Support Manager who will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of timely enrollment of continuing students, both in-school and reinstate, and all associated retention activities. In addition, this position will assist students in the selection of courses for future quarters in accordance with established Personal Education Plans (PEP) and solicit feedback from students withdrawing from the University, as well as provide guidance and assistance needed for the re-enrollment of out-of-school continuing students. This position will require evening and weekend hours.
Our successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or related field is preferred; however a combination of education and extensive related experience will be considered.
•Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
•High level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills.
•Ability to think independently, work with limited direction.
•Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency required.
•Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
