Foreign students admitted to Strayer University and in possession of a Form I-20AB will need to request an F-1 student visa that will allow entry into the United States. Applicants for student visas should apply at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate with jurisdiction over their place of permanent residence. Although visa applicants may apply at any U.S. consular office abroad, it may be more difficult to qualify for the visa outside of your country of permanent residence.
We recommend that you apply for your visa at least 30 days prior to the start date listed on your Form I-20AB. If you need more information about the types of student visas and how to schedule an appointment, click here.
