That’s why our admission requirements are designed to give prospective students a foundation for success. Below, you can explore admission requirements by degree level – for associate degrees, bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and graduate certificates.

Bachelor’s admission requirements

Before you can pursue your bachelor’s degree, you’ll need to enroll at Strayer. Here’s what you’ll need to get started for admission to the university.

Master’s admission requirements

Before you can pursue your master’s degree, you’ll need to enroll at Strayer. Here’s what you’ll need to get started for admission to the university.

International students

To help in the application and admissions process for international students,* we’ve developed admissions requirement checklists, including acceptable forms of proof for all requirements.

*Students applying to Washington, D.C., or New Jersey campuses will need to provide proof of proper immunization.

Military students

Strayer University is proud to work with veterans and active-duty service members. We offer veterans educational benefits and participate in the Yellow Ribbon program. While we require special forms from service members during the admissions process, our military admissions officer can assist you in gathering what you need.

Please submit the following forms along with your application:

  • Your official transcript from your military branch
  • A JST Form (Request Official Joint Services Transcript)
  • A DD Form 295 (active servicemembers) certified by an authorized officer and the designee or a DD Form 214 (non-active servicemembers)
